Celecoxib 8% Compounded Topical Cream
Restore Sport is a compounded topical preparation containing celecoxib 8%, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug also known as an NSAID. It is prepared in a specialized cream base for localized application according to an individualized prescription.
Each 100 g prescription is compounded in the Mississauga, Ontario lab by Restore Pharmaceuticals following assessment by a licensed prescriber and verification by a pharmacist.

WHY A TOPICAL FORMULATION?
Restore Sport allows the prescribed medication to be applied directly to the treatment area identified by your healthcare provider. The cream format can be applied to different muscles and joints and incorporated into an individualized treatment routine.
Although it is applied to the skin, topical medication can still be absorbed into the body and may not be appropriate for everyone. Your prescriber determines whether celecoxib 8% topical cream is suitable based on your symptoms, health history, allergies, current medications and overall treatment plan.
ACTIVE INGREDIENT
Celecoxib 8%
Celecoxib belongs to a group of medications called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. Restore Sport contains celecoxib compounded in a topical cream base for localized use as prescribed.
Do not use Restore Sport for a condition or treatment area other than the one for which it was prescribed.
HOW TO APPLY RESTORE SPORT

Wash and completely dry the treatment area.

Apply a thin layer, one pump or the amount specified on your prescription label.

Gently massage the cream into the skin until completely absorbed. This may take approximately one to two minutes.

Wash your hands thoroughly after application unless your hands or fingers are the treatment area.
If applying Restore Sport to your fingers or hands, allow the medication to remain on the treatment area for at least five minutes before washing, unless your prescriber or pharmacist provides different instructions.
Always follow the directions on your prescription label. Do not change the amount, application frequency or duration of use without speaking with your prescriber or pharmacist.
Important Safety Information
- Use only according to the directions on your prescription label.
- Apply only to clean, dry and intact skin. Avoid broken skin, wounds, rashes, infected areas, eyes, mouth and other sensitive areas.
- Do not use a heating pad or tight bandage over the treatment area.
- Tell your prescriber or pharmacist about all medications, allergies and medical conditions, including pregnancy or breastfeeding.
- Stop using the cream and contact your healthcare provider if you experience a rash, significant irritation or another unexpected reaction. Seek immediate medical care for symptoms of a serious allergic reaction.
STORAGE
Store Restore Sport at room temperature in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, excessive heat and moisture. Do not freeze.
Keep the container securely closed and out of the reach of children and pets. Use the medication before the beyond-use date printed on your prescription label.
