Celecoxib, Lidocaine and Menthol Compounded Topical Cream
Restore Max is a compounded topical preparation containing celecoxib, lidocaine and menthol. The ingredients are prepared in a specialized cream base for localized application according to an individualized prescription.
Each 100 g prescription is compounded by Restore Pharmaceuticals in Mississauga, Ontario following assessment by a licensed prescriber and verification by a pharmacist.

WHY A TOPICAL FORMULATION?
Restore Max allows the prescribed ingredients to be applied directly to the treatment area identified by your healthcare provider. The cream can be applied to different muscles and joints and incorporated into an individualized treatment routine.
Although it is applied to the skin, topical medication can still be absorbed into the body and may not be appropriate for everyone. Your prescriber determines whether this formulation is suitable based on your symptoms, health history, allergies, current medications and treatment plan.
ACTIVE INGREDIENTS
Celecoxib
Celecoxib is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug, also known as an NSAID. It is included in the compounded formulation for localized use as directed by your prescriber.
Lidocaine
Lidocaine is a local anesthetic that temporarily reduces pain signals from the treatment area. Some patients may notice that the area feels less sensitive after application.
Menthol
Menthol produces a cooling sensation on the skin. A mild cooling, tingling or warm sensation may occur after application.
Compounding Base
The ingredients are prepared in a specialized topical base designed to distribute the prescribed formulation throughout the application area.
HOW TO APPLY RESTORE MAX

Wash and completely dry the treatment area.

Apply one pump or the amount specified on your prescription label.

Gently massage the cream into the skin for approximately 30–60 seconds, or until it is mostly absorbed.

Wash your hands thoroughly after application unless your hands are the treatment area.

Allow the cream to absorb before covering the area with clothing.
Always follow your prescription label. Do not change the amount, frequency or duration of use without speaking with your prescriber or pharmacist.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Menthol may produce a mild cooling, tingling or warm sensation shortly after application. Some patients may notice that the treatment area feels less sensitive as the lidocaine takes effect.
The response to the anti-inflammatory ingredient may develop more gradually with consistent use. Response times and results vary between patients.
Contact Restore Pharmaceuticals or your prescriber if your symptoms do not improve, become worse or change unexpectedly.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION
• Use only according to the directions on your prescription label.
• Apply only to clean, dry and intact skin. Avoid broken skin, wounds, rashes, infected areas, eyes, mouth and other sensitive areas.
• Do not use a heating pad or tight bandage over the treatment area.
• Tell your prescriber or pharmacist about all medications, allergies and medical conditions, including pregnancy or breastfeeding.
• Stop using the cream and contact your healthcare provider if you experience a rash, significant irritation or another unexpected reaction. Seek immediate medical care for symptoms of a serious allergic reaction.
STORAGE
Store Restore Max at room temperature in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, excessive heat and moisture. Do not freeze.
Keep the container securely closed and out of the reach of children and pets. Use the medication before the beyond-use date printed on your prescription label.
